Challenging interactions and conversational intelligence

Organizations are complex networks of human relationships where friction and tension are inevitable.

Difficult situations need to be handled consistently and in a way that moves things forward constructively. In this program you will gain practical tools for addressing challenging issues and situations and understanding the emotional reactions that come with them.

Stepping in early is a leadership skill. Managers and team leaders play a key role in addressing difficult situations consistently and constructively, and it takes courage to raise issues even when it feels uncomfortable. Every team member also shares responsibility for how well the team works together.

In this program you will gain practical tools for recognizing and handling challenging situations and understanding the emotional reactions that come with them. You will practice how to raise difficult topics constructively, how to listen and respond in the way the situation requires, and how to move things forward so that collaboration is strengthened rather than damaged.
